Elena Ostanel has been awarded the ALDA Martini Scholarship

The NEIGBOURCHANGE Project has been awareded the Scholarship Martini of ALDA- The European Association of Local Democracy Agencies.

Despite a general increase in well-being, social inequalities have increased significantly in most European countries since the mid-1970. The worldwide financial crisis and economic downturn since 2008 have intensified this process. NEIGHBOURCHANGE has been awareded for its capacity to impact on questions like social cohesion, local democracy, urban participation in diverse societies. The Project is particularly interesting for its action-research capacity, with the aim at impacting on local governments functioning.
